Congratulations to Charlene for winning the Orlando VA Medical Center’s Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs Award for Excellence in Nursing for Advanced Practice Nurse!
Name Change
The FAET Board of Directors decided to put the decision of whether FAET should change its name to the membership for a vote at the 2011 conference in Fort Lauderdale. The decision to change the organization's name passed
-Charlene Demers
(36 to 16).
The board requests that members offer suggestions for a new name for the organization. A vote on the name will take place at the 2012 conference on the West Coast.
Some suggestions from the Name Change Committee are Florida WOCN or Florida WOC Nurses.
